It was amazing seeing everyone at The Skin Games and IECSC. Can I just say, that was a whirlwind of a week! We didn’t get much sleep from June 12 through the 18th. There is so much to do when you go to industry events.
I have to say, we are so blessed to be able to do amazing trade show events like IECSC and The Skin Games. It is wonderful when we are able to bring so many people in our business community together in one place. So much magic and excitement surrounds these types of events. If you weren’t able to make it this year, make sure you try and get to one of these huge events next year.
Benefits of Networking
In business we often worry about budgets and the amount of time events like this take. However, we need to remember that these events also help us to grow our network. When we get to work hand in hand with amazing people like Jennifer and Frank Rosenblum it was well worth the investment. So think about that for yourself down the line. Growing your network can have a huge impact on your business.
The networking was great and for us that is just like growing our friends and family with YOU!
We had two of our educators back doing around the clock demos. If you’ve ever seen our YouTube channel you know Jenny and Katrina are amazing. We had Jenny performing M.A.D Skincare treatments and Katrina completing 2B Bio Peel Treatments.
As always we got to see some old friends while making new ones. We did a combination of two treatments on Barry from Lipgloss + Aftershave. He will be featuring us in one of his blogs soon, so make sure to keep on following him on all of his channels.
Manufacture Teams – It’s Great To See You!
Another wonderful part of this hectic week was that we were able to see our lovely partner manufacturers. The Circadia, Shira, and ExPurtise team were all there with us at the IECSC. We don’t get to see our manufacturers often, so that was fabulous.
As you know education is really important to us at California Skincare Supply so it probably comes as no surprise that we love events like The Skin Games and IECSC. These types of events are wonderful learning experiences for estheticians and promotes continued education.
The Rosenblum’s
But you can’t go to amazing events without a little bit of fun. It was seriously a blast! Jennifer and Frank Rosenblum did a fabulous job with The Skin Games. There is a lot of pressure and financial burden to running an event of this size. They had the Live Show planned down to the minute. When things run smoothly everyone can enjoy themselves so much more. I know I had a wonderful time.

Not only did we get to have an amazing time and see all of you, but The Skin Games raised $30,000 for the Compassionate Category Winners to give to their respective charities. That is a huge increase from last year. We appreciate all the Rosenblum’s do for our industry.
