Advanced Chemical Peel Layering

Did you read our last blog post, the Guide to M.A.D. Skincare Professional Peels?

Then play the video below to watch a demonstration of the ADVANCED Triple M.A.D. Peel stacking technique in action, performed by our professional skincare educators Jenny and Trin, and narrated by Kelli of CSS!  When you’re done be sure to check out another post that will tell you everything you need to know about chemical peels

M.A.D. SKINCARE PEEL LAYERING PROTOCOL

STEP A: CLEANSE

Choose a cleanser suitable for your client’s skin type. Jenny used the M.A.D. Skincare Brightening Cleanser. This Advanced Triple Peel was intended for Trin’s hyper-pigmentation, as well as generally providing age management, treating fine lines, wrinkles, breakouts, and agitated skin.

STEP B: TONE

Balance pH with a toner suitable for your client’s skin type. Jenny used the M.A.D. Skincare Glycolic Toner to help begin the lifting process and prep Trin’s skin for further exfoliation.

STEP C: PEEL LAYERING

The depth of the peels can be increased by adding layers. Stack multiple peels and peel strengths to address multiple skin concerns within a single treatment. Jenny chose the popular combination of Glycolic 40% MediPeel, Advanced Acne MediPeel, and the Delicate Skin Resurfacing Peel.

STEP D: REMOVAL M.A.D. HACK

Water rinse and apply a gentle toner, before neutralizer. Jenny used the Everyday Renewing Toner to raise the skin’s pH.

STEP E: NEUTRALIZE

Neutralize the acid further with Neutralizer Solution

STEP F: MASK COCKTAIL

M.A.D. Masks also work well when cocktailed together! Try combining the Spot On Zinc & Sulphur Mask (to help balance oily/acne prone skin), Youth Transformation Glycolic Mask (to refine and firm skin tone), and the Jenasus Growth Factor Mask (to increase oxygen levels and product absorption).

STEP G: FINISHING PRODUCTS

Retinol Eye Serum to protect and smooth wrinkles and puffiness in the eye area.

Cocktail the Wrinkle Repellant Environmental Protection Serum with the Just Relax Wrinkle Minimizing Serum.

Follow with a combination of the Transforming Daily Moisturizer and Illuminating Daily Moisturizer.

Finish and protect the skin with the PhotoGuard Self Adjusting Foundation Serum SPF 50.
